A group from GAS chromatography laboratory took a one day training course, which was held in LPI premises by a Galvanic Applied Sciences engineer regarding a new instrument equipped with chemiluminescence detector, used for determining H2S and mercaptances in natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas.

 ISO 9001: 2000 Internal Auditors Training is officially kicked off on 29th of June 2008 and will end on 03rd of July 2008. The internal audit training will cover theory, practical audit, case studies and examination. A total of 20 participants are involved in this training. The objective of this training is to select and qualify a team of internal auditor to verify adequacy, suitability and implementation effectiveness of LPI quality management system. |

In cooperation with university of Bradford_UK, a three days workshop was conducted on “Rehology and Start Up Pressure for Waxy Crude Oils” organized jointly between LPI School Department, Education Section and Faculty of Engineering, Al-Fatah University as part of their cooperation program.
The workshop was attended by some of LPI staff, faculty of engineering and national oil companies, has been delivered by Prof. H. Benkreria from Department of Engineering, University of Bradford.
